Painting Matryoshka nesting dolls in the rooms of the Museum of Russian Toys with the help of a master-artist and a story about the history and peculiarity of Russian Matryoshka. The guests will keep their painted Matryoshkas as a present. Tea with spice-cakes, barankas and sooshkas.

Making traditional Russian dolls with the help of a master-needlewoman who will tell about the history and peculiarity of Russian toys. Tea with spice-cakes, barankas and sooshkas.

    Making traditional Russian Pelmeni (Ravioli)

    A guide dressed in national clothes meets the guests and shows them around the Kremlin. Visiting “Danila-the-Craftsman” Lyceum, narrative about the history of Russian crafts and trades. Making traditional Russian Pelmeni with the help of the cook and a story about the history and peculiarity of Russian Pelmeni. The guests will be supplied with all needed ingredients for them to start molding the ravioli. Tea with spice-cakes, barankas and sooshkas is served in the end.

    Welcome to the Vodka museum, the first one and the only one in Russia and in the world! Vodka is a subject of national proud of Russia. It has a long history and ancient traditions. The exposition of the Museum reveals this traditional Russian drink not as a symbol of the rakish life but as an important phenomenon which plays a leading part in the economics and culture of the country. The exposition represents Russian history in the connection with vodka, Russian drinking and vodka-making traditions.

    There is a souvenir shop in the museum where one can buy the best samples of modern Russian vodkas. After the tour one can visit Traktir and taste the best types of Russian vodka. 

    The Museum of Russian Toys

    The Museum of Russian Toys is a unique project. In our Museum you can learn the history of traditional Russian toys. It is the world of Russian fairytales and entertainment.

    The Museum combines exposition with elements of game and offers different educational programs. Visitors will see original Russian toys: Dymkovo, Kargopol, Filimonovo, Polkhov-Maidan. You also can paint a toy by yourself. 

    Museum of Bells

    More then 100 examples of bells of different size, shape and chime from different parts of the country are gathered in the Museum and will acquaint you with this unique musical Russian art. Besides learning the history and the technology of bells manufacturing and using traditions, the guests will be able to listen to the bell ring concert performed by the famous bell ringing artists. 

    The Museum of Russian Costume and Way of Life

    The exposition consists of the dresses and elements of traditional Russian costume of different times and places gathered from all the parts of the country. A wide range of different items of national way of life and customs of Russians are exhibited here.
